Lately....

I can't believe it's been a month since I last posted on here! oops...

It has been pretty hectic lately so this blog has been the last thing on my mind. 

The day before my birthday we came home to our rental house late at night to all the wood floors on the first floor ripped up, all of our furniture wrapped in plastic and moved to the front door and about 10 fans and a dehumidifier running. That was fun. All for a little water leak under the house. So.....We  left a little early on our trip to Utah since we couldn't really live in our house. I did laundry and packed quickly and we were on the road the next day. 

We talked with our landlord and decided to just move right when we came back to Utah because the house would have to get all new floors and plumbing. Luckily we were already planning on moving at the end of April and the house we moved to was already vacant.

So the whole time in Utah I was kind of just stressing about moving since I had packed NOTHING. and I wanted to go through all of our stuff and get rid of things prior to packing. Now that wouldn't be an option.

We drove home from Utah Wednesday all day. Packed Thursday and moved Friday and Saturday. It was INSANE. Luckily Casey's parents drove down to help us. Lifesavers. and my mom, dad and sister helped as well. Seriously we wouldn't have been able to do it without them!

So now we are in the new house and it is awesome! I love it so much more than the previous one. There is so much natural light everywhere! plus we have a community pool and hot tub! amazing!

We are pretty much moved in and organized at this point. We still need to do some decorating/hanging. So when I have more free time I will catch up on more posts from this last month

Pregnancy Update: 33.5 Weeks !

Here is a little update on this pregnancy. 

I'm 33.5 weeks!

-still getting Progesterone shots weekly - they will stop when I'm 36 weeks

-Recently put on Bedrest--kinda impossible with Chase

-I was having lots of contractions last week

-Had a positive Fetal Fibronectin test (not good)

-Went to the hospital to get steroid shots to develop babies lungs incase he comes early

-Now i'm taking Procardia (Nifedipine) to stop the contractions and it's working! not fun though because it lowers my blood pressure and I already have low BP :( 

-My doctor says my goal is 36 weeks so that puts me at the Sunday after Christmas!

-2.5 weeks left of bed rest and meds!

-I'm feeling good though- just tired but not sick at all!

-Pretty ready to not be pregnant anymore and to EXERCISE but I'm not sure I'm ready for another baby!

I'm still amazed at these girls and how welcoming they have been to me since I moved here!

Seriously I could not have asked for a better group of girls to live by :)

We are kind of missing FALL….California has no seasons :(

Here are some pictures of what we have been up to lately! Since I haven't lived here for eight years I forgot what it was like to have NO SEASONS! I'm pretty sure it's hotter right now than it was in July haha. Since being pregnant I have never in my life looked forward to summer being over more than I do right now. And who knows when it will finally cool down here. I totally miss the Utah Fall right now. It is seriously the best season ever in Utah. However, I can't complain about the California life...

Lately we spend our days…

-going to the beach with friends in the day or evenings (so Casey can get out of the house)

-Mornings at Disneyland

-Indoor playgrounds on hot days! and we finally went to Cafe Rio (it tastes better in Utah)

-finally tried South of Nick's Mexican Restaurant…did not disappoint

-beach trail walks

-last minute Dodger game last weekend with my Mom and Becca

-going to random parks when we don't want to deal with the sand at the beach :)

LATELY...

We have been trying to keep ourselves quite busy while we are just waiting for our house to sell. This limbo stage is really not fun. We have to keep the house perfectly clean ALL THE TIME because we constantly have people coming to see the house. We have probably had over 30 people come see it and still NO OFFERS! It's so hard to have patience. 

Anyways, so here is what we have been up to…

-lots of days spent at the park (we love to just grab lunch and go hang out)

-Chase had Hand, Foot & Mouth disease last week- not fun :(

-bikes rides 

-lots of grilling for dinner!

-we finally hiked all of Big Springs. We usually give up and turn around

-We took a day trip to Slc and went to Scheels to see the fish and other fun stuff

-Mother's day I got a Blendtec! life changing. Thanks husband :)

And now it's Memorial Day weekend and we are so excited to have Dad with us for an extra day!
