VALENTINE'S Day

Since our Anniversary and Valentines Day are so close we usually just do a combined date night. We went to our favorite place to eat, South of Nicks. And celebrated with the butter cake. 

On actual Valentine's Day we took dinner to Casey's grandma Alma in Long Beach. We just hung out at her house and spent some time with her since we don't get to see her very often. 

The boys also made me breakfast on Valentine's day which was so sweet!

One tradition we started is making chocolate covered strawberries for our neighbors. 

9th Anniversary Trip to Ventura

I'm just going to do a bunch of posts at once because I need to catch up! and I still enjoy blogging because it is like a journal to me. I love looking back at it and seeing what was going on in our lives!

For our 9th Anniversary we went up to my parents condo in Ventura. We took Auggie and my mom watched the boys. It was such a nice getaway to just have one baby. Casey worked all day Friday so I just took some long walks with Auggie, ate good food and even went to a movie!

That night we went to our favorite Mexican place in Santa Barbara called Los Agaves. We also drove around Montecito and saw the mudslide damage. IT was heart-wrenching! 

The next day we went to my favorite brunch place and then went on a long walk. We then saw a movie! and that afternoon took turns surfing! The waves were perfect for me!

THat night we just ordered in Ramen and watched the Olympics then drove back late that night. 

Such a good little trip!
