Jimmy NINE Months Old!

Jimmy turned nine months on October 8th so this is a catch-up post!
He is such a hunk of love!
I can't remember his stats but I think he was around...
21 pounds! -50% weight
35% height
80% head
(pretty consistent with how Chase measured except Jimmy weighs more)

What he is up to:
-CRAWLING!!! I forgot how hard this stage is! I have to start baby-proofing
-He did the army crawl forever and now lifts that belly up
-Super determines: If he wants something he will do anything to get it
-Puts everything in his mouth
-Just started singing in the car
-still nurses 4-5x a day ( I need to start weaning ) :(
-Sleeps through the night until lately with teething- I had to re-train him
-has 6 teeth! He just popped the top three in!
-Will pretty much eat anything but loves veggies, avocado, banana
-Claps his hands together
-Is always sitting up in his crib waiting for me to get him from his naps with a big smile
-He thinks Chase is the funniest person ever
-Still such a little snuggle bunny and loves his mama!

Halloween 2015

I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week and I still have not done a post on Halloween yet! We've been so busy lately, it's crazy. So this post is just full of our Halloween activities that we did leading up to the big day.

We visited Halloween City which is basically a carnival pumpkin patch in a mall parking lot. It was pretty awesome. Chase loved all of the rides especially the boat ride. We also went to Tanaka Farms with a bunch of friends. This is a legit pumpkin patch and farm where the kids can just wander and they have a fun hayride.

We painted pumpkins this year instead of carving. Chase is too little to carve yet. My parents came down and my Mom made dinner in a pumpkin which is so so good! Then we went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood with a bunch of families in our ward. It was a success! Chase got WAY too much candy and he kept eating it all night! So naturally ended up going to bed super late.
It was a great Halloween! It's so fun with kids!
oh and Chase was a MONKEY and Jimmy was a BANANA.

College Friends/Roomies REUNION!

I graduated from BYU in 2009 and we JUST did our FIRST reunion!!! Why did we wait 6 years?!?!?!! I guess there is a lot to figure out with husbands, pregnancies and managing all our children. Between all of us we left 8 husbands and 7 children (We had 2 babies with us) just for two nights so we could finally have a reunion! And the only girls that did no come live on the east coast (one was very pregnant).

I'm not going to take complete credit for making this happen but I basically just made a plan and told everyone to come! It was pretty easy since we just stayed at my parents house. They went with Casey and Chase to Ventura for the weekend so we had the house to ourselves!!

We basically just stayed up way too late catching up, ate some really good food, went shopping, got pedicures and laid by the pool! On Saturday we had a surprise baby shower for Sara (she thought we were just getting brunch).

It's crazy how even though I haven't seen some of these girls for years it feels like nothing has changed and we were just all living together in the dorms! We decided that we are not going to let 6 years go by before we do this again. We are planning next year already....August Education Week at BYU and maybe stay in the dorms for old times sake?!
