my first WHITE Christmas

So I kind of failed and ended up taking NO pictures on Christmas Day. I do not know what happened! I must have just left my camera at home... I did however take pictures on Christmas Eve. Casey, Kevin and I ended up going skiing at Snowbird for the day. It was a great way to celebrate not having to work that day! Later we had Chinese food with Casey's fam and just hung out. Christmas Day was a lazy one. We had a breakfast feast, opened presents and went to a movie.

Christmas Lights!

This week we went to Salt Lake with the Kirklands to see the lights at Temple Square! It's a yearly tradition and it was fun to share it with Case's family. Afterwards we went to Hatch's Family Chocolates and got the best hot chocolate ever! It's amazing. If you ever go to Temple Square you have to go!

belated thanksgiving post

This year for Thanksgiving it was my family's turn. Case and I spent a week in the California sunshine. Although it was not as warm as we were hoping for at least there was no snow! And the waves were nonexistent (first time I have gone home and DID NOT go surfing :( kinda sad). But we ended up finding other ways to entertain ourselves...

Case and I started watching Glee this season and we absolutely love it! There are some annoying, cheesy parts but we love all of the musical numbers. We are hoping to rent the first season and watch it over the Christmas break.

Last year Casey and I had the best costume ever! Leprechaun and Pot o' gold so this year we knew that we could not even compete with our former selves. So we opted for the classic Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. I need to start researching right now for next year's costume. It's a lot of work to come up with an original costume. Halloween was great this year though. We are on our activities committee so naturally we attended the ward Trunk or Treat. and we got to be judges for the costume contest which is so fun! Next we went to Casey's family's house for dinner. Later we headed to some friend parties. Lets just say it was a long night and I ate WAY too much candy!

birthday shout out to BECCA !

My lil sista Rebecca Elizabeth Anderson turned 21 today !!!! She is legal! woooo woooo!!! She actually just went out and bought some wine from the state liquor store (to cook with...hopefully). Becca has always been such a great sister and friend to me. I really appreciate her in my life. And I'm so happy that she lives close to me! I am especially proud of Becs and her accomplishments in life. She is definitely one to set goals and follow through with them. Right now she is in culinary school at UVU and she works at a cupcake bakery as a little baker! She plans on one day opening a bakery of her own. I hope she has the best birthday ever! LOVE YOU BECS!

first snow fall of the year!

Earlier this week Case and I went to the Ingrid Michaelson concert with our good friends Dillon and Sara. My lil sister Becca and her friends were there as well. We had to wait forever outside to even get in (even though we had tickets) and it was freezzzing! with a little bit of hail. The concert was way fun! She is awesome. She did a rendition of Britney Spears "Toxic". IT was great. So by the time the concert was over there was a BLIZZARD outside!! It was nuts! We sprinted to our car and were all totally drenched by the time we got there.

So, October 26th was the first official snowfall of 2010. Not too bad I guess. Utah does not have 4 seasons. They have 2: Summer and Winter. Welcome to Winter!

This is the second item of my Dream List. I have been wanting one of these for a while. But the chances of getting one is slim to none at this point in my life. The AirStream "Bambi". It is amazing. 15' of happiness. The 2010 model is my favorite by far. My dream in life is to put some surf racks on the back and bike racks on the top and head down the California Coast with Case. Maybe make it up to Yosemite and the Red Wood Forrest too. As for now I am just going to keep on dreamin....
