Last month Casey's sister and her family came down to visit and we went to California Adventure for the day.
Chase loved being with his cousins!
We also went to Balboa Island with them. The kids loved the ferry and frozen bananas of course (we were on whole30 so we need to go back!).
On President's Day we decided to take the train down to Old Town San Diego. I have been wanting to do this forever! It is a little tricky though because you have to drive to Oceanside and then hop on the train that takes you directly there. And working with train schedules with kids is kind of hard because if you miss your train you are stuck for two hours or more!
We almost missed it coming back because we were eating at a sit down Mexican restaurant (but so worth it because i was amazing).
We also stopped by the Mormon Battalion and let the kids mine for gold. Chase has a rock obsession so that was fun for him (plus its free!)
The weather has been oddly warm lately so we have been spending lots of our Saturdays at the beach. Our typical schedule is me doing pilates in the morning, then we grab breakfast and head to the beach till nap time. During naptime Casey will surf or I will run errands/get a pedicure and at night we either hang with friends or go out for dinner. Can't complain!
