EASTER candy is my favorite.

Since we've been married, Case and i have not REALLY celebrated Easter. So this time I decided to splurge and make us little easter baskets. They were nothing too special but I did buy the best of the easter candies: Peeps (I know they are just marshmallows but I love them-slightly stale), Reese's PB eggs, Cadbury mini eggs, Starburst Jelly Beans and Cadbury creme eggs. Plus I bought myself a movie and Case got a new book to read on his business trip to PHX. After church we went to Case's parents to watch our niece and nephew Cali and Cole do their little easter egg hunt and later that evening we had dinner with Casey's grandparents. It was a great Easter Sunday and I still have some candy left over :)

WATER FOR ELEPHANTS is so good.

I read the book a week before the movie came out and I loved it! It's a good story-not a true one- but the author did tons of research on the time period and incorporated true events of the era into her book. We saw the movie on Friday and it was amazing. I am usually not too impressed when books are turned into movies--but this one was an exception. Casey's friend Ben equated it to Titanic...a love story of poverty and riches surrounded by an event bigger than the main characters themselves. It's a must see.

my Fam comes to visit!

Every year my family comes to visit Utah on their spring break. These days the only kids left at home are Chad and Kenzie. I feel bad because they came for the worst weather ever. The week before it was in the 60s-low 70s and when they came it just snowed/haled/rained the whole time. We were able to go skiing one day in Park City but it was cold!!! Good thing we just filled the other days with our favorite things: movies, eating and bowling!!

my BIRTHDAY party!!!

I turned 23 on Wednesday. It was a great day besides having to be at school for most of the day. I woke up to Casey's pancakes (he is a highly skilled pancake maker). Then I studied...took a test, did ok. In between classes my sister Becca took me to get a Scalp Treatment at Paul Mitchell. It was amazing! For dinner case and I had Tucanos...sooo yummmmy. Too bad we were too stuffed to enjoy all the wonderful desserts at my partaaay! Case organized a little get to together with friends/family. Thanks so much for coming everyone!!
