I loved that the 4th was on a Saturday this year! It meant that Casey had work off Friday yay! We went down to Oceanside and took the train to the Del Mar Fair. Chase has been dying to go on the train so we finally went and he loved it!
On Saturday our ward had a big breakfast party, after we put the kids down for naps and we laid out in the backyard. Casey took Chase to the pool while Jimmy napped. We were considering going to the beach but it is so so crazy here on the 4th. That evening we had a bbq with our friends and watched the fireworks at the beach! It was a simple but fun day!
