This year for the 4th we went down to California to visit my parents. It was kind of nice having them all to ourselves. We spent a good part of the day surfing Malibu and just hanging out at the beach! For fireworks we went to my grandmas house which sits on a hill overlooking the Rose Bowl. They put on an awesome show! and we had front row seats without the crowd!
