SEATTLE in 3 DAYS

Last weekend Chase and I were able to go with Casey to Seattle on a business trip. It was almost a free trip besides my flight (we used points!) and the extra night in a hotel. We realized that we want to take advantage of just having one baby right now and take as many mini trips as possible. Because when number 2 comes along we won't be accompanying Casey on any business trips :(
While in Seattle we charged pretty hard. We pretty much wanted to see/do/eat everything we could do in 2.5 days and we did just that!

Day ONE
We arrived later than expected because our flight was delayed
Checked into the hotel and headed down to Pike's Place Market just a short walk from the hotel
Everyone was packing up but we were able to get Mac n Cheese from Beechers! So good
Then we went down to the waterfront and had dinner
Ice Cream for dessert and headed back to the hotel

Day TWO
Casey had this work meeting in the morning
Chase and I headed back down to Pike's for mini donuts!
Then we went shopping at the first Nordstroms
Casey met up with us and we took the monorail to the Seattle Center to see the Space Needle
They just happened to have a Food Festival too!
After that we headed over the Ballard Locks and watched the ships go through the canal
That evening we stayed in Bellevue--it's a dream!
We had dinner on the lake at this sweet park
Perfect ending to our busy day!

Day THREE
We had TopPot donuts for breakfast. They were average (I'm a pretty tough donut critic)
Then headed up to Kirkland ten minutes up the road
We took a tour of Lake Washington and saw the coolest lake front home including Bill Gates
After we ate lunch at the food trucks in the park
We were going to go to some waterfalls on the way to the airport but ran out of time so we ended up just going to check out the Seattle LDS Temple.
It was so pretty with all the greenery around it!

That concludes our trip to Seattle! We loved every minute of it.
